Node Installation

Minumum Requirements

  • 4 or more physical CPU cores.
  • At least 100 GB of SSD disk storage.
  • At least 8 GB of memory (RAM).
  • At least 50 mbps network bandwidth.
 

Custom User (optional)

sudo adduser selfchain
sudo adduser selfchain sudo
su - selfchain

Install Update and Dependencies

sudo apt -q update
sudo apt -qy upgrade
sudo apt -qy install curl git jq lz4 build-essential

Custom Port (optional)

Skip this step if running default port configurations

Install GO(ver. 20.5)

Get Binary

sudo cp selfchaind /usr/local/bin/

Init Generation

Replace moniker_name with your own moniker name

selfchaind config chain-id self-dev-1
selfchaind config keyring-backend file
selfchaind init moniker_name --chain-id self-dev-1

Download Genesis and Addrbook

Set Peers and Seeds

Register And Start Service

sudo systemctl enable selfchaind
sudo systemctl daemon-reload
sudo systemctl start selfchaind && sudo journalctl -fu selfchaind -o cat
